AWC Grief Support

Chelsea is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and a clinical intern with AWC Grief Support. She is deeply passionate about supporting children, youth, and families through caregiving challenges, bereavement, and life transitions. With over seven years of experience working with young caregivers—children and youth who take on caregiving responsibilities for family members—Chelsea has developed a strong understanding of the unique challenges they face.

Her professional experience spans community-based settings, including developmental services and hospice care. Chelsea also brings extensive experience from camp environments, where she has worked with children and youth from diverse backgrounds and abilities. In addition to her counselling practice, Chelsea is a dedicated advocate for young caregivers and their families, actively raising awareness of their experiences both in Canada and internationally.

Chelsea creates a compassionate, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, seen, and supported. Drawing from a person-centred approach, she offers empathetic and inclusive care. She also incorporates creative, play-based, and art-based interventions into her practice to help clients express themselves and address their needs in meaningful ways.

Chelsea offers both virtual and in-person sessions in Toronto.
